The Gold Belt Scenic Byway consists mainly of Phantom Canyon Rd and Shelf Rd from Cripple Creek to Canyon City. We will be concentrating on the upper part of Shelf Rd just outside of Cripple Creek. Toyota is supporting this event and will be there, along with the media possibly. We need 35 people so please bring a friend.

RAINY DAY BACK UP DATE - Saturday, Sept 25th
PLEASE arrive early to sign in but please PRE-REGISTER BELOW (if you have pre-registered for an event this year a simple email will be sufficient letting us know you are coming and who might be joining you.)
MEETING TIME & LOCATION:
9:30am - Sign-In and Registration at main staging area on CR 88 (directions below)
10:00am - Safety Briefing and break into cleanup groups
DIRECTIONS TO SHELF RD (CR 88)
From Bennett Ave (the main street through Cripple Creek), turn on 2nd street (south Hwy 67). Turn RIGHT about a 1/4 mile onto CR 88 (called Shelf Rd, but no signs). Continue 1 mile to the large turnout on the left where the staging area will be.
LUNCH: PROVIDED
BRING: Refillable water bottle, gloves, wear sunscreen, a coat, long pants & STURDY shoes/boots
PROVIDED: water, gloves (if needed), grabbers, trash bag
PRE-REGISTRATION is VERY helpful so that we can be sure to bring enough supplies and food for everyone
