MEETING TIME & LOCATION:
COMING FROM TRI-LAKES AREA:
The Information Signs on CR 300 (Rampart Range Rd), near FS Rd 312. Take Mt. Herman Rd (CR 320) approximately 11 miles to the stop sign intersection at CR 300. Turn LEFT onto CR 300 and proceed apprx 3 miles (past FSRd 312) to the turnout with the Information signs on your left.
COMING FROM WOODLAND PARK AREA or COLORADO SPRINGS:
Meet at the Woodland Park Middle School parking lot on the Rampart Range Rd side of the school to caravan (leaving at 8:45am) to the Information signs on CR 300, right before FSRd 312., OR take Rampart Range Rd up, viering LEFT at the “Y” at Loy Creek, then proceed up until the road turns to dirt and stay LEFT again (heading north) on CR 300 until you reach the Information Signs a few hundred feet up the road.
BRING: Refillable water bottle, gloves, wear sunscreen, a coat, long pants & STURDY shoes/boots
PROVIDED: water, gloves (if needed), grabbers, trash bag
PRE-REGISTRATION is VERY helpful so that we can be sure to bring enough supplies for everyone
